sometimes when i say a tune is cheesy..... what i mean is that it's quirky... it doesn't mean i'm saying it's shite.... i'm just saying it's cheesy....

some people get offended when you mention the tune they love is cheesy as fook....

but i love cheese...

what are your favourite cheesy tunes....

baby ford - wigan

Christ Ive got loads of cheesy house, probably 9.999/10ths of my Italian collection the snobs would say is "right cheesy"

Also Ive got loads of mellow balearic type stuff, such as Hall & Oates - I cant Go For That (Remix) considered cheesy by some, but I love it:D

Amongst a whole host of other cheese I've got a "special" remix of Jean Michael Jarre's Rendevous, which Amelie reckons is straight off the Hitman & Her, but I love it!

who assoiciated the term cheese with piano music anyway..?:S

the only thing i can think of is that is stems from the rhyming slang for cheesy quaver.......

which reminds me of my most hated tune ( if you can call it that ) of all time.... im ravin, im ravin...put on my ravin shoes

im cringing thinking about it, and imo that song stinks of SHIT never mind cheese... in fact it has no place being mentioned on this thread ...im sorry:p :$ .

rant over:cool:

Need cheese!

I'm trying to compile a list of about 150 cheese tunes in the style of 80/early 90's stuff. Let loose are on the list already so you can see the angle im attacking! Good fun songs you recognise but haven't heard in years. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cant find anything under "Zone Classic"

Sorry m8, I meant that post with a sorta tongue in cheek style...
(Note to myself : Don't do sarasm on t'internet- it don't work:rolleyes: )

As for cheese - for me its how a crowd reacts to the record, its when the vibe in the club lifts and the huge grins appear..:D personally its not a word used to grade the quality of the track.

I would say a good example of cheese would be Bizzare Inc- Playing With Knives.

Here's a point, my browser is poor, and it seems I now have had replies and posted the same thing twice! Well the list is coming along. If there was anything that put a smile on your face in late 80's early 90's dont be shy.
