The DMC world mixing championships have showcased many talents over the years and have evolved into a highly practised and polished showcase for mad scratch techniques.
This Austrian entry from 2004 goes against the general idea somewhat: -

Even if I was considered a pretty shit-hot DJ I'd still be reluctant to enter the DMC Championship because some of them are just so unbelievable theyre just, erm.. unbelievable!

some of them are beyond ridiculous though
I've got a video of an old one and theres some bloke on there DJing with his top off then at the end of his stint he whips the record off the decks, snaps it and starts scratching / cutting into his torso with the sharp edge, drawing blood and allsorts!! :shocked:
