Hyperon Experience are good mates of mine. Alex's first record had some samples in it from Jesus Christ Superstar. They called themselves Platic Clothes Machine then, can't remember what they called the track tho.

You know 1/2 of Hyperon Experience (Alex) is 1/2 of EZ Rollers?? And the other half of HE (Danny) is Flytronix, he gave me a copy of his new album a few weeks back, and it could even be a contender my album of the year.

Another track, which although maybe not essentially oldskool, uses a film sample to great effect in my opinion is Aphrodite - Dub Moods. It uses the sample from Kevin Spacey in 'The usual suspects'

Although the video says 1999, it first came out in 1997, so might be almost considered Oldskool in Drum n Bass terms, who knows. Ed
