No certainly don't think they should be executed unless a guy named Steven Britton that I used to goto school with is the one exception I make. I have a cousin that is gay and I know loads of people that are , seems like people just aint as shy about hiding the fact anymore. Now I don't condone them kissing etc in front of me as long as they keep it to themselves then it don't bother me.

The only thing that pisses me off is the way they attend these gay pride parades and celebrate being gay, hetro-sexuals dont do this thing so why should they? Its like coloured folk doing Black Pride parades, if i organized I white proud parade I would be tarnished a racist.

all about the context.... they would have been thrown in prison for being gay just a couple of decades ago, so its probably a celebration of being free.... Black pride and civil rights marches in the USA were on the back of years of discrimination

exactly...

I can't believe some contries are still like this to be honest. Its not as if people choose to be gay-you are what you are, end of!
The world makes me a little bit sick sometimes...

Nope but i really really still cannot stand him and hope he dies sooner rather than later. Its been near 20 years but I still remember the sickening thud and pain of that piece of wood knocking me unconscious with a sneak attack.

yes this is one time that I really hold a grudge

Trust a bummer to take someone hard from behind with his wood...

Soz it was begging to be said :D

Sounds nasty that Ste... but sounds like your grudge against him has nowt to do with his bummerishness tho...

upgraded to Didsbury!
I don't understand why some people still find it icky to see homosexual men kiss? Either they're worried that the incident may arouse them or they're stuck in the 50s....either way, in this day and age, I find that kind of attitude a bit odd!

i have a good m8 who bats for the opposition and i was shocked a few year ago when he rang me when he knew i had been told and asked if i was still ok and wasn't going to fall out with him :| he is a top bloke and to be fair you wouldn't have a clue he was gay if you didn't know, he doesn't advertise it the same way as i dont feel the need to advertise the fact im straight.
i do feel uncomfortable with mincers who put on a public show, and take being camp to the extreme, but i also dont really want to see a straight coulpe all over each other in public either, i had never really thought about the fact that manc mentioned about why not celebrate thier freedom, good point  ive been to gay pride, canal street, queens court and always enjoyed the atmosphear. but i also know plenty of lads who shudder at the thought of gay. each to thier own i guess, but as long as my sexuality is respected, be it in a gay club or the supermarket, i shall always do the same. in that i mean i dont know of such a place where gays or lesbians cannot enter so because im in a so called gay bar, also respect the fact im straight. and just enjoying the party

Hmmm - I see you have a flyer for Nervous Records as part of your signature - superb label from New York where Dance music has it's roots in a number of black gay clubs, that later spread to Chicago where House Music was born.

Mike Pickering was spot on when he said in 'The Hacienda Must Be Built' book - "A lot of the best DJs and the best clubs in America, the Scallies don't realize it but they're all gay".......

I fall in to this category.
I don't know why, I have no problems at all with sexuality. No problem with anyone wanting to celebrate diversity. I work and have worked with many gay people. I have the odd gay friend; though I can't pretend to say they are my closest friends. Been to pride a couple of times. And am known by many on here to cause havoc on the dancefloor when love drugs take effect :he she: :p
I think it's the artificial "inevitability of it all" build ups to gay kisses on tv that make me think I'm about to eat an egg sandwich :hurl:
Yet I managed to watch Milk last night without cringing once. Probably because it's a great film. And I would recommend it to any Ugandans on here
