Which Is Better Progressive Or Italian House

When ever I hear some progressive house I seem to get bored as to me it's just 1 tune all the way though. Italian House really makes me want to dance though as it's got a lot of action in it.

What do you like better Progressive or Italian House?

italian house all the way cant beat the piano vibe i love acca's piano organ and sax in a tune even tho i did like sasha up to 95 when he started to get progressive but 89-95 was me best clubbing years that makes me feel old wow i was clubbing when i was 15 pmsl

i prefer progressive by a country mile, don't think that will come as a surprise to many on here ;) i don't mind the odd piano tune but i don't like whole sets full of it, and a lot of italian stuff is too cheesy for my liking. there are plenty of crap tunes in most genres but imho the better prog tunes are ace and a pleasure to mix with too :thumbsup:

I do like my progressive although I have to be in the mood for it

But I prefer Italian as a whole genre

To me its not just about cheesy trumpets, uplifting pianos and wailing diva vocals:D

There are some master class italian tunes out there, deep n dubby, or classy piano tunes, and have they have done the odd decent techno tune.

Axe corner for example. I call that techno, but loads probably wouldnt but you get my point.

There is a lot more to progressive than Sasha. A lot 1991/2 progressive is Italian which I love. Sorry but I hate hard euro style Italian/Spanish of 90-onwards but absolutely love Italian laid back garage style ie Sasha (the Italian one). My taste in music is very southern with harder Italian being played too far north for me.

So Jonathan, I'm split, Italian garage:love: , early progressive inc italian:love: , harder italian:moonie: and so called progressive/ trance:crazy:

Johnathon, Italian House aint a genre. Progressive House is a genre.
There is a multitude of genres within Italian House... i.e. Progressive House, Ambient House, Hip House, Italo House, Latin House, Tech House, Tribal House, Deep House, Acid House, Vocal House etc etc...

If you are saying you like 'Italian House' then you are saying you like all the genres of house music from italy.. So you do like Progressive, but only if its from Italy??
