gas bill :(

I have lived in my house for four years, and have paid by direct debit £30 a month to the gas people.

Last week i recieved an estimated bill telling me i was quite a bit in credit, so i did a meter reading and phoned them, expecting a nice fat check this week.

Turns out all my previous bills have been estimated, and i have actually used on average £55 worth of gas per month over the last four years, not £30.

Now the bastards are saying they want the £600 asap.

shiting buggar.

Wouldn't worry about it too much, you can just increase your bills a wee bit to cover that, they'll not want the whole lot all at once.

Thing is, they up your bills and leave them set like that until the debt is cleared, and then you build up loads of credit, and end up having the bills lowered again in years to come, it's mad!

I love the way they have picked the coldest day in June in the history of erm, cold days of June to deliver this shite news too.

I am sat here with 3 jumpers on and can hardly move i am so wrapped up. I refuse to put the heating on incase the robbing bastards bill me further silly amounts.

In a world of my own
I took my gas company to the cleaners, I think I managed to get the bill up to £2000 then they put in a meter where I had a card and for every £10.00 I put on the card £7.00 went on paying back the debt, that was easliy sorted, I got my mate to send them a letter saying I had moved out and they were the new tennant and they changed electric companies as soon as getting back on a proper meter, then guess who moved back in the house ;) :p
