What a first party that was! Big thanks to everyone who made it down and helped make the party so special! We already feel like we're at home in The Warehouse, and that was just the start, things are only going to get better and better, starting with our next party where we bring in the mighty CROSSTOWN REBELS, for a REBEL RAVE!</p><p></p><p>Basics have a long history with Crosstown Rebels. We threw our first REBEL RAVE 3 years ago and following on from the success of our joint event at VOX we've decided it's only right to bring back the Rebels and show them our incredible new home.</p><p></p><p>Heading up the party will be head honcho DAMIAN LAZARUS, an old Basics favourite, Damian has been at the forefront of underground house and techno for donkeys years. As a DJ, he's probably best known for his legendary sets at DC10 in Ibiza and reports coming back from the island this summer suggest he was on fire there last summer. As a label owner he has a knack of uncovering new talent, with an incredible string of talent part of his label, such as JAMIE JONES, SETH TROXLER, ART DEPARTMENT, MACEO PLEX, RICHY AHMED and ROBERT JAMES.</p><p></p><p>Damian will be playing the closing set at Basics, as he's famous for at DC10, we're in for a treat!!</p><p></p><p><a href="http://damianlazarus.com/">http://damianlazarus.com/</a></p><p></p><p>Joining Damian will be one of DC10's main and longest serving residents, CLIVE HENRY. Clive last played for Basics at our massive Circoloco party at Stinkys last year and is a big favourite where ever he goes. </p><p></p><p>The 3rd Rebel in this rave is London based DJ and producer jOZIF. With releases on CULPRIT, WOLF + LAMB, LEFTROOM and ONE RECORDS his reputation as a producer is unquestionable. As a DJ, as well as being part of the REBEL RAVE tours he's also a resident at WE LOVE (SPACE) in Ibiza as well as being the only resident at JOHN DIGWEED'S BEDROCK parties in London.</p><p></p><p>Completing the line up is Basics very own superstar resident, RALPH LAWSON for his first gig at the new venue.
