LOVED UP returns to Halifax, Fusion Nightclub for its annual Valentines Special… if last year was anything to go by, then this year is bound to be another stomper, with none other than 7 of your finest oldskool jocks taking to the wheels of steel! LOVED UP is proud to welcome back a couple of familiar faces as well as a host of new ones as we go all out to bring you a night ram packed full of the finest oldskool piano classics ever invented!
LOVED UP is proud to boast one of its biggest line-ups to date, with an array of oldskool legends including; BARRIE JAY – an absolute legend in his own rite and one of the pioneers of italo house at the famous zone night in Blackpool back in the day. Expect lots of unheard & hidden gems from the man like Baz!! Absolute quality every time, very excited to have Barrie on, will be a joy to your ears hearing this guy play!
LOVED UP welcomes back JANE ANGEL with pleasure after her awesome appearance at the November event; Jane blew the crowd away with her seamless mixing and banging oldskool tunes at the Trades Club! Expect nothing less this Feb!! PETE MONSOON also returns; this Halifax legend does the bizz each and every time, pulling out tune after tune cut up with some mighty fine scratching to boot!! If you haven’t seen this guy in action before then now is the time… proper good am tellin ya!!
SUPERDAN & STE HUXLEY both residents for the successful Bak2Wax event in Blackburn make their first appearances at LOVED UP, both have also enjoyed guest slots at such nights as Luv2Luv, Retro-Trax, Timeless & GOODTIMES. Expect nothing but the finest italo house tunes from Dan & Vee and a set full of underground piano tunes cut up with an anthem or two from the man like Ste Huxley!
SUDDY makes up the Valentines Special line-up along with LOVED UP resident ZAC GREENWOOD, both seemless in the mix, and have the ability to vary there styles from playing italian house classics, rite through to the more banging piano stuff, and everything inbetween! Both these boys know how to get the place rocking and there wont be any exception come FEB 11th!
