Whilst everyone has raced off the blocks in January to try and rid everyone of their 'January Blues', Kinky Malinki has been preparing meticulously for their first major London event of the new decade. It was one year ago in February that Kinky Malinki took on the mammoth task of throwing their first event at the 'new kid on the block', matter. This was no mean feat, being twice as big as most larger London clubs, but like most things in Kinky Malinki's history, it was a tremendous success and paved the way for a great 2009.
A year on and we find ourselves back to the present and facing the mouth watering prospect of one of the hottest line ups the clubbing capital of the land, if not the planet, has seen this year thus far. With love in the air and a Valentines Ball on the horizon, Kinky Malinki enlist a dazzling array of DJ's that reflect KM's constant aim to walk the fine line between being credible, yet accessible, and bring you chart sensation Sidney Samson, Ibizan institution Wally Lopez, Dutch deep house dynamo Baggi Begovic, jewel in Manchester's crown Juan Kidd and Kinky Malinki's new album compiler Kid Massive.
Yes, you did read that right. Not only do we celebrate that crazy thing called love, but after a little while in the wilderness, KM bounce back with another compilation album deftly mixed and compiled by regular guest Kid Massive. The music industry is ever changing and those changes didn't benefit Kinky Malinkiand our album aspirations, therefore we've been patient and now present a double album that perfectly reflects the soundtrack we provide at our events. Whether that's the serious sounds we supply across the monster system of matter, or the more sophisticated sound that seep's from the speakers of Pacha. It's all here and spread across two CD's, which will stamp Kinky Malinki's authority on being THE club brand to trust for quality and consistency.
