A musical background that has unfolded over three decades like a rich tapestry, DJ Nature (aka Miles Mackenzie) was a founding member of Bristol’s infamous 80’s ‘Wild Bunch’ sound system, the same crew that spawned Massive Attack. He later migrated to NYC and took frequent trips to the underground house and disco clubs to hear legendary DJs such as Larry Levan and Tony Humphries. His love for that raw early house sound inspired his early releases under his 'Natureboy' moniker for Black Label NYC and Tomato Records UK.</p><p></p><p>With this heritage and his extensive disco, soul, funk and hip hop collection, it is no surprise Miles has an acute understanding of the underground sound that gives life to the dance floor. His recent releases, on cult NYC label, Golf Channel are collector's items, but more importantly classic tracks, such as Destiny Reprise, have formed staple ingredients for a throbbing night.
