<blockquote data-quote="jukeboxpr" data-source="post: 794319" data-attributes="member: 14103"><p>IAM ONE FEB NEWS</p><p></p><p>That was a rocking few months for IAM ONE, the duo Mixmag describes as ‘like the Swedish House Mafia but with more hands in the air moments,’ who have just finished playing at every single one of the Mixmag Tour dates (the biggest of its kind) alongside headliners like Fat Boy Slim, Laidback Luke, A Trak, Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Evil Nine, Friendly Fires and Simian Mobile Disco, and never looked out of place. Quite simply, they smashed it.</p><p></p><p>Off the back of that 2010 is set to be a strong year for the duo who plan to continue playing in the UK ,but also have gigs confirmed at this year’s WMC in Miami. As well as that they have had Radio One support form Kissy Sell Out (he played the IAM ONE remix of ‘Whoa’ by Punx Soundcheck on his show), have released their first single on Stripback Records titled ‘Missy’ which has had big support from the likes of Mark Knight and has been remixed by Scumfrog. But how did this all come about? </p><p></p><p>Solid residencies in the hallowed booths of Pacha, The Cross and Ministry of Sound are what got the duo out there, and slots alongside Claude von Stroke, Tim Sheridan and Sister Bliss have only honed their skills for weaving energetic journeys through main room tech-house sounds.</p><p></p><p>No slouches in the studio, either, their tight production work for Stripback Records has had love from guys who really matter... heavyweights like Dubfire, Axwell, D.
