For most of you, Saturday March 20th will be all about Ricardo Villalobos's long awaited return to iconic London superclub Fabric, but for the other 99.9% of you, i can guarentee there's only one place on your lips, the Hung Like a Horse Hacienda Hoedown of course! But hold on a minute.... we say 'Why not do both?!?' After all, our 'proper party' with oldskool/disco anthems and fun galore is the perfect warm-up for a serious Saturday night in Fabric. Those in the know, will know that house/techno supergod Ricardo never starts his iconic extended Fabric sets before 5am in the morning, and those who can handle the pace will also know that he usually doesn't stop spinning until well into Sunday afternoon, and with the door-tax into Fabric only £5 after 4am, you'll also save a pretty penny by raving with us beforehand too!!
This month it's HACIENDA night down at the H&G, so come celebrate the club which spurned the rise of acid house and rave music in the UK. The Hacienda became most famous during the "Madchester" years of the late 1980s and early 1990s, and during the 1990s was labelled the most famous club in the world. So next saturday night you can expect to hear anything from New Order to The Stone Roses, A Guy Called Gerald to the Happy Mondays, Inner City to 808 State, Primal Scream to Massive Attack, and Candi Staton to Black Box.... and just like us, I put my bottom dollar on Mr Ricardo V himself blasting out at least one of the Hacienda's seminal anthems on that infamous Fabbers sound-system. Get ready!!
