This event is a collab between 2 of brum's most dedicated promoters who are joining forces to bring an evening of cool music and breakdancing ALL FOR FREE......

AUTOMATON is the prodigal love child of 2 major UK soundsystems.
The infamous hip hop event 'Scratch Club', and the fabled electronic music event 'Earko'
He is the promoter and resident DJ at both of these legendary events which have seen him perform alongside such diverse acts as public enemy, aphex twin, qbert, john peel, plaid, scratch perverts and many other top acts from the hip hop and electronica genres.
His music is a mix of both styles.... with a twist of dub and funk mixed in
currently signed to satamile records, the longest running electro label in NYC.... automaton always provides a memorable experience behind the turntables
MUSHROOM - a Sandwell “Smethwick” native has been involved in the UK breaking and Hip Hop community since the mid-80s, initially as a keen dancer and more recently as a promoter Dj and event organiser. He organised the first Birmingham Breakfest event, which took place on 17 March 2006
he has spun at most of the uks Major Bboy events and along side some of the uks biggest djs and acts. MUSHROOM digs deep and covers funk Electro and all eras of Hip Hop from its birth to its present, if its funky hes drops it......
