Filth May 8th Mint Club, Leeds 10.30pm – 6am £12/15 Mar T, Richard Dinsdale There’s a varied musical spread at Filth on May 8th (the first of two events this month) when Amnesia ( The World's No 2 Club - as voted for by Dj Mag readers) resident Mar T and Toolroom Knights champ Richard Dinsdale call by. Spaniard Mar T is well known all over Ibiza for his house and techno blending sets, whilst closer to home his ‘Laughing Gas’ track topped the Beatport tech-house chart for two weeks recently. He plays all over the world and as such has the experience he needs to get the always expectant Filth crowd on their toes and bouncing. Mar-T also has his own record label called Wow Records where he makes his own productions together with artists like Tobi Neumann, John Dahlback, Paco Osuna, Valentino Kanzyani and many more. Also taking up centre stage in the Mint booth is occasional resident Richard Dinsdale. He’s strongly associated with Toolroom Knights – one of the foremost UK house labels and his sets and productions range from filthy funk to energising electro via rolling ravenous techno and good old fashioned house music, on labels such as Renaissance, Nervous, Global Underground, and Sunday Best. He exposes a widescreen remit and is sure to supply another tasty sound track to a Filth party.
