The Raging Bull Festival
Custard Factory, Brimingham
Sat May 29th
930pm – 6am
£20/17/15
Bigger Than Barry is shaping up for its biggest, FATTEST, wettest party to date.
This event is known to man only as THE RAGING BULL. Aswell as De Niro, The Bull is our cities fair mascot, and we are looking to unleash it bringing a musically diverse event likened to Camden Crawl, Great Escape etc, etc.
To kick off we will be taking over The Custard Factory Arts & Media Centre to put on a HUUGE line up that will bring bass lovers to their knees … the aim is to make this an annual event in Birmingham where 3000 people can get down to all manner of electronic music. 2009 saw the first edition of this event an as hosted by Diplo’s label Mad Decent. Music came from Diplo, Rusko, Fake Blood, Boy 8 Bit and more than 2, 500 people were there to dance through the night. This year’s festy takes place on 29th May and you can expect to hear some bass bin bothering dubstep from Benga, mixed dancehall and bassy beats from Toddla T, future-step from Joker and a combination of all of that from Radio 1’s Jaymo & Andy George. As well as many more DJs, there will be a proliferation of live bands (think Scarlot Harlots, Goodnight Lenin and Tantrums) who are all talented musical prospects currently on the cusp of breaking through to the big time.
