Around 16 years ago myself, Debby D and Phil from Melody House were putting the final touches to a brand new night we had decided to call Zone.

In a continuing series of Zone re-unions this is probaly the most eagerley awaited.

Phil, Debby and myself have got together once again with all the original DJ`s (except one) for a Jenks Bar 1st Birthday Re-Union.

The line up:

Barrie Jay
John Jdoing a 4 hour set between them

Chris Baker

Andrew Dean

with special guests:

Keith Capstick
Sam White

and the one and only original MC Irie

This will be a complete night of early Zone nostalgia with lots of free giveways including original flyers, posters and CD`s.

A unique event not to be missed.

Klub DNA, Central Promenade, Blackpool. Friday July 20th from 9.00 pm until 4.00 am.

Live it all again.

And yes it should be Jenks all the way, only IRIE on the mic.....no gabbling like last time.

Dunno what happened Bob but glad you are coming, wouldn`t be the same without you.

Andy D was not on the first birthday - although as you say he is not interested anyway.

The only one missing is Matt.

MC Irie only for old times sake and we have even told him to tame it down- I shall be wiring the mic to the mains and if anyone touches it bar him expect a few blue flashes.

I have been digging out a few tunes that were big there that somehow never managed it onto to tapes too.

In regards to the MC's you've got it bang on with just IRIE, thats what has pissed me off about the last ones...........too much gabbling by people who think it's a frickin donk night......

Irie adds a nice touch, he never has gone overboard anyway........but it should be kept to a minimum.......like at Jenks.......:0)

LOL...Surely Matt would want to do it if he knew how much peeps wanted him there?...Its fair enough to say leave the past in the past, but Im not fortunate enough to be part of that past and would buzz my tits off hearing matt bell doing a set, fo sho phones: You said your self Bob, it would be rammed to the rafters...
