Last time he rocked the place and having graced the turntables at some legendary venues such as Bowlers, Angels, The Hippodrome, Park Hall, The Loveshack, The Hacienda, Club Kinetic and Monroes in the past, he’s sure to deliver more of the same this time round! I think we can expect a selection of his favourite house, acid and techno tracks ( I think, because he won’t tell me lol)

In the red corner we have a Blackpool Oldskool Veteran, who is probably best known to you lot from the famous Zone events around the North West. A regular on the Club scene for over 20 years who’s played house music in many different ways, shapes and forms during his incredible DJing Career. Not just in England either! From playing house music at Pacha in Ibiza, and The Bassment in Cairns (Australia) to Italian Piano Classics at Zone, Guesting for Adrenalin playing to over 4000 people, playing progressive house and break beats, at Chaos in Bangor, and Lakota in Bristol, and countless other nights throughout the country… we are of course talking about the man like BARRIE JAY. Barrie was one of the DJs we had in mind for one of our first events, but due to other commitments we’ve had to wait until now.. We are delighted that Barrie making his debut appearance and I have to say that with his musical expertise, I have no idea what to tell you to expect lol All I can say is that from a man with such a varied collection of music, it’s certainly going to be interesting

As always, Residents Woody, Cano and Miss Saysay will be on hand with their own unique styles of late 80s and 90s house.

The reason we don’t advertise this publicly with flyers and posters is so we keep the riff raff out we only invite happy smiley party people to IMH... people who have either been personally invited, are members of OSA, our Facebook / myspace groups, or their own friends that they brought to previous events. We try to cater for the more discerning Oldskooler. People who are passionate about oldskool house music, and are sick to death of hearing the same old anthems over and over again, by DJs who are only in it for a quick buck. We try to keep the music fresh and varied whilst making sure we don’t stray too far from our house music roots. Whilst we might not play the anthems that have been played to death over the years, Rhythm is a mystery / Peace & Harmony / Robin S etc, etc… we're certainly not goin' to bore you to death with peculiar obscure music that no ones ever heard before. We spend a hell of a lot of time rooting out classic tunes that don’t get the exposure they deserve these days, tunes you'll have forgotten you knew, secret little gems that we've discovered over the years mixed up with some stone cold classics that we all know and love!!

All the DJs we have on, play only for the price of a few beers and the love of the music that inspired a generation! We're not in this to make money! We only charge what we need to cover costs and if we're very lucky TFH!
