They’ve continually ploughed their own furrow from their Leeds base, carving out a niche in deep and funky electronic music of the highest quality.</p><p></p><p>Anyone who’s been to one of their annual Sonar nights know the label know how to throw a good party, and this is guaranteed to be one of their best ever, with a line up and venue made for each other. Calling on the services of their contemporary stars, the label offers you a rare, live and intimate show from 2020Soundsystem plus sets from Crazy P Soundsystem, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Julien Chaptal, Simon Baker, and the boss himself, Ralph Lawson, plus dj support from Wolf+Lamb's Jozif, Chris Halliday and Danny Raper.</p><p></p><p>The scene for all this is a venue as awesome in the day as it is at night. Village Underground is an expansive, raw space with skylight studded ceiling in a restored Victorian warehouse, set in the heart of East London's Shoreditch. Making the most of the summer sun, this party kicks off nice and early giving the label the chance to showcase the full spectrum of its unique sound, in both a live and dj format. This will be the only chance to see 2020Soundsystem Live in London this year as they embark on a mini tour that takes in Sonar, Big Chill, Space Ibiza and The Garden Festival Croatia.
