The Original Golden Residents Playing The Original Golden Anthems...
Many moons ago Stoke On Trent had a superclub all of its own. Before Cream, before Gatecrasher, before Gods Kitchen. Yes, it was the pre-runner to all these and more. Stoke On Trent boasted the mighty Golden clubnight which ran for more than a decade and was undoubtedly the north and midlands finest clubnight during the 90's. From beginning to end the main resident DJ was the legendary Pete Bromley who played the very first and very last records at Golden, a feat in itself when you think it was a weekly clubnight that ran for over a decade. When Golden changed its music policy in the mid to late 90's Funky House hero Danny Taurus was hired by Golden to Keep the disco vibe alive in the back room which Danny made his very own which has also become part of local clubbing folklore...
Golden was certainly one of the best things to come out of Stoke On Trent and thousands of clubbers all over the UK had some of the best nights of their lives thanks to Pete & Danny...
Join us on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th August for a night to remember! The Original Residents playing all the Anthems from Golden's glory years which is an occasion in itself, not to mention it being one of our Bank Holiday extravaganzas which are becoming legendary parties in the making.
