as many of you know Kimball Collins didnt let tapes get away from his circle of friends too often. i have had this since it was given to me in 1994. it was recorded on August 11, 1994 at the Classic Beacham Theater aka "Reunion". This could be the recording from the last night EVER at the old "Aahz"! sorry about the hight pithed whine of the tape. i couldnt clean it up any better. there are some awesome tunes on this mix. you will remember almost every track! enjoy new OSA friends!

djmezmer thank you so much. I have been scouring the interweb for tapes like these. The Reunion nights of Aahz were hot times. The nights before that were incredible too! I was there every Saturday night for it would seem like a decade.

I will add some tracks where I can if you would like.

I got a copy of a tape from his Thursday nights at Barbarella and of course it disappeared. At one time I worked with a guy who had quite the collection of his tapes, even going back (if anybody remembers) World War III at the Beacham. I even had a Dave Cannalte tape from back then.

so far...

KIMBALL aug 11 94 part 1.mp3

33:47 Yum Yum- Three Minute Warning

I caught alot of labels (especially the Chill label) and some titles hanging out behind the DJ booth, but it was crowded up there! Sometimes I have to listen to the tacks a few times before I can even remember.

i will keep trying though.
