As Septembers amazing re-launch party saw Edu Imbernon & Kaiserdisco leave an everlasting imprint in FILTH history, October 9th sees the newly invigorated Filth party push on in their new direction with headline sets from deep house don and RA chart topper Oxia and Belgian Ramon Tapia.
Frenchman Oxia has produced some of the most charted deep house records of recent times, whilst at the same time, has toured all over the world (from Space to Fabric to Sankeys) doing his DJ thing. Records for hot labels like Tsuba, 8Bit, Dubfire’s Sci+Tec and seminal Komapkt have earned this man a fine reputation. Expect classy club music which will subtly shift through many shades and keep you dancing all the while.
Meanwhile, the Belgian DJ and producer Ramon Tapia has released more than 20 records since his debut in 2004, with a full length album coming on Great Stuff Recordings soon. The man has also released on Turbo and Craft Music whilst he plays at places like Fabrik, Spain, at the Amsterdam Dance Event in Holland and many other places in between.
As usual, whilst the excitement will surround the two headline acts, those in the know get just as excited about the Filth residents – a fine selection of jocks who know how to build up for, and lift off after, the main guests.
Of course, as well as the music there is the added edge of a stunning Funktion ONE soundsystem, a futuristic LED light panel above the dance floor and the small matter of one of the most beloved crowds in the country – a selection of clubbers who live and breathe Filth and make it exactly the memorable party that it is every month.
So, having re-birthed last month after a summer hiatus, October sees Filth mutate into a fully fledged party once again – this one will go off!
