He was signed to The Beats, a record label run by Mike Skinner and Ted Mayhem, until February 12, 2008. He won the inaugural Jump Off MySpace £50,000 battle rap tournament in July 2008. In 2009, Manderson worked with Lily Allen on her 2009 concert tour.</p> <p style="text-align: center"></p> <p style="text-align: center">In 2006, at the age of 23, he released his first mixtape, Lecture #1. He recently signed to Virgin Records and released "I Need You Tonight", based around INXS's "Need You Tonight" through the label. He also joined up with Lily Allen in "Just Be Good To Green" which is based around The SOS Band's "Just Be Good to Me".</p> <p style="text-align: center"></p> <p style="text-align: center">He toured with the American rapper, The Game in London</p> <p style="text-align: center"></p> <p style="text-align: center">On 7 November 2009, Manderson signed his second recording contract, signing to Virgin Records. It is unknown what the deal entailed, however a mixtape and album are in the pipeline and scheduled for release in 2010. He confirmed his album title is called "Alive Till I'm Dead" on his official MySpace. The first single off the album is produced by The ThundaCatz and called "I Need You Tonight", which samples the 1987 hit from INXS 'Need You Tonight'.
