Terminal M Records Anniversary Tour London”</strong></p><p><strong></strong></p><p>2010 sees the dawning of a new chapter in a label that has without a doubt helped to shape techno history. The label ethos of Terminal M, the concept of exploring the wide spectrums of electronic music, are rooted firmly in the world class DJ career of its label boss, the great Dame of Techno, Monika Kruse. Acting as tastemaker, Monika has crafted the Terminal M catalog by an instinct learned through 20 years of spinning records every weekend in every major club and festival around the world. In a way, you could say that the label output of Terminal M tells the story of the last 10 years in techno.</p><p></p><p>Monika Kruse has been cooking dance floors from Chicago to Berlin and Tokyo for over 17 years. Beside her DJ activities the native Berliner follows her own idea of Techno Funk as producer, party host and label impresario. Monika Kruse has played an integral part in German club culture since 1991, starting as resident in the Munich based Parkcafé and as member of the Ultraschall Crew. Ambassador of German dance culture for the Goethe-Institut, apart from her busy DJ and producing schedule, Monika founded the charity organization “No Historical Backspin”, a platform for Electronic Artists to spotlight a voice and make a stand against racism, intolerance and xenophobia. Beside her seven DJ-mix albums – including Monika Kruse “On The Road Volume 1, 2, 3 & 4” Monika Kruse’s DJ-Schedule has taken her from Japan’s largest indoor Rave “Wire”, to the “Loveparade closing ceremony” in front of 1,5 million people. In Berlin her home base - she is a regular at the world-renowned clubs “Berghain/Panorama Bar” or “Watergate”.</p><p></p><p>Young talent for the night comes in the form of an exclusive Live set via Istanbul's Erman Erim (awarded 'Best Newcomer' & 'Best Live Act' in Raveline and Groove Magazines). Erman has released 3 EPs on Terminal M so far having been presented beside Monika Kruse in the Terminal M Showcases in Berlin, Switzerland, & ADE in Holland to great success. The two together represent everything that is in a nutshell Terminal M from past to present and the future that lies ahead.</p><p></p><p>To celebrate ten years of discovering and shaping techno as it is today, Terminal M is proud to announce a series of Anniversary edition releases, and the official 10 Years of Terminal M label tour touching down in London on Saturday 23rd October at a secret London location.
