PARLIAMENT is the coming together of three of the north's most influential club promoters. Between them over the past five years, ALEX SIMMONS (HABIT), RAY CHAN (CANDYPANTS) & ROB TISSERA (KISSDAFUNK) have been responsible for getting over a million clubbers into their prestigious events.
PARLIAMENT is going to be huge without a shadow of a doubt on every Saturday at the newly refurbished SPACE in Leeds.
The venue has a standout musical heritage and it is held precious in the hearts and minds of thousands from all over the world who have danced, smiled, laughed and fallen in love with Leeds and the club.
The refurbishment is not only aesthetic but a re-invention and re-positioning of the style, the image and The Space brand… A fresh perspective and purpose!
Virtually every named DJ, Live act and Producer have graced the Space DJ booth… Joey Negro, Norman Jay and Timo Maas were the original residents coupled with Leeds finest and guests such as Sasha, Erick Morillo and Masters at Work.
RAY CHAN: "our plan is to provide an up-market musically led destination for people who share a passion, style and energy for House music."
ALEX SIMMONS: "Virtually every named DJ, Live act and Producer has graced the Space DJ booth…from Dirty South, Julie McKnight through to the likes of Joey Negro, Norman Jay and Timo Maas, Sasha, Erick Morillo and Masters at Work. Our Aim is simple.. we want to make Parliament THE place to be"
ROB TISSERA: " the opportunity to work with Alex and Ray was simply too good to resist. they are two of the very best promoters I have ever worked with.
Between us, we all have a commitment to quality… music is the key, we will strive to break new sounds, DJs and provide a quality, credible saturday night to the city. ".

Leeds favourites Kissdafunk team up with Parliament to end November in style with tried and tested Swedish talent John Dahlback for a huge Halloween party.
The DJ and producer has had a notably prolific career for a 24-year-old, with dozens of 12-inches and a handful of full-lengths already released on labels like Defected and Systematic. For the past five years, Dahlback has run Pickadoll Records, and receently he announced another new label, Mutants. Used to playing all over the world and rocking dancefloor swherever he goes, John is sure to make the most of the newly refurbished Space venue, as will KDF mainstay Rob Tissera – one of dance music’s most enduring and experienced spinners and producers.
The back room will be bouncing to KDF classics all night long and resident talents Dave Robinson, Drew Scott and Marc Leaf will provide more than able support to tonight’s headliner.
