Gerd Janson
Gerd Janson has been serving the hottest house and disco cuts for years at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson, where he hosts the long running Liquid club night with comrades Thomas Hammann and Sven Helwig. Like many kids growing up in early 90s south-west Germany, Gerd was a regular guest at Mannheim's legendary Milk Club, where he eagerly awaited the early morning hours when the pace slowed down and US-style house was the ruling sound. A prolific music journalist (magazines Groove, Spex), Gerd is also co-owner of the respected Running Back label which has issued releases from the likes of Tensnake, Mark E, Prosumer and Move D.
As a DJ who expertly fuses the new with the old, unearthing gems to excite a spectrum of music lovers, Cutloose welcomes Gerd for his Manchester debut.
