Face in December
After more than a year of underground (literally, part of their home is a cellar) parties in the Black Country, Face push on in style through the festive season with another selection of on-oint house and techno guests ready to lay down the sort of voguish soundtracks not heard elsewhere in the city.
In the last year, everyone from Derrick Carter to Any Weatherall via Dana Ruh, Jimpster, Alex Cellar and many more have played for Face, helping to make it one of the most loved and intimate promotions in Birmingham.* Not only do they have the cosy, raw cellar for their parties, but when things get too manic it all spills out into the courtyard and Rainbow Bar above.
Highlights this month include a very special Azari Records party (underground house music riddled with groove on 4/12) an appearance from London based Phonica Records store worker and Mobilee DJ/producer Hector alongside One Records boss and Brum fave Adam Shelton (11/12) which is likely to swerve up all sorts of deep and delicious house delights, before the huge Xmas party ( 19/12) with Hot Creations boss, Jamie Jones collaborator, close Wolf + Lamb associate and disco, house and retro innovator Lee Foss.
As well as that there is a special Boxing Day bash with Drop Music’s Sonny Fodera amongst others, plus the as yet unannounced New Year’s Eve Party.* So, partying as only they know how, Face hope you can join them this winter season for a party you aren’t likely to forget in a hurry!
