It was certainly one of the standout nights of 2009; to end 2010 in style, it seemed fitting that we invited the man back for our special Christmas knees up. Gerd has been serving the hottest house and disco cuts for years at Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson, where he hosts the long running Liquid club night with comrades Thomas Hammann and Sven Helwig. Like many kids growing up in early 90s south-west Germany, Gerd was a regular at Mannheim’s legendary Milk Club, where he eagerly awaited the early morning hours, when the pace slowed down and US-style house was the ruling sound.
