Ah well Amelie. Those are the points of why I like the film. You'd be speaking German if it werent for peeps like your grandad, you cheeky scarab!!! I am very thankfull for thier courage back then. I like those films of the way the English used to be, the sense of greatness, the way of life, ingenious inventions, great engineering feats, pride, all pulling in one direction, it fills me with pride. Do we have the brains, endurance, resources and pride for our country like we did then...if there was a similar style war now?...do we fekkers like. A 1/4 of this country would be fighting for the other side already within our streets, another 1/2 would sit on the fence demanding a 100% guilty conscience free war scenario, leaving a 1/4 of us with no resources to fight for whats left!. lol. Sitting and Duck do spring to mind. I cant say Im a big war movie buff, cos I hate it when the bloody Yanks make out it was all thier doing how we won. Yeah, they played a good part, and surely helped us out, but the films make out they were the main players!. Anyway, it was all a long way back. lol. Without looking at the TV guide, I can tell you that Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Indiana Jones, Superman, Freaky Friday, BIG.......etc will be on! lol. Same old shiznit every year. Its like theres been no films made since 1987. lol. Sirius.
