I absolutely love this era and have a few great tracks (I have all of thise I posted above for instance). Anyway late 70's/early 80's electro does blend into early synth pop which I also absolutely love in fact this is how I first got into the house sound. There are also many regional variations, USA, Italy, Germany, UK etc.
