Advice on some Ebay Joker

Alreet peeps,

Thought I got a bargain on ebay a few weeks back when I got this lot for just £1

I must admit the thought did cross my mind that I might get problems with this as I reckon this geezer though they would sell for big bucks (but he listed em so badly that most of us would have thought it was some dodgy sales ad)

I paid immediately via paypal but he has never accepted the payment .

He never replied emails , so I sent him a final one stating that if I dont get no responce Im gonna leave him negative feedback .

With that I got this reply:

soory to keep you waiting for so long we have all been
very ill with a sickness bug including my baby who has
been very kindly sick all over the items we listed to
sell. Please accept my appologies as we will not be
ablt to send the records as they were ruined and have
been binned.
I will leave you good feed back still, sorry for
wasting your time.

Is it me or can you smell bullsh1t?

I wouldn't of been that pissed off if he would have been honest and said he made a mistake and should have put a reserve on it and was not prepared to sell them for just a £1.

I wouldnt have had a problem and might of offered more given the chance .

Was thinkin of offering him a daft price like £300 to see if he still sticks to his story

What should I do as Iv got 100% feedback meself and the chances are that if I give negative feedback he will just leave it back as retaliation.

I know, at least the could have come up with a plausable reason like 'my house has burnt down'. :|

It must be some super strength baby sick that can penetrate through a rack of sleeves & vinyl rendering them useless

LOLOL!! Baby sick!! Oh dear, what a crap excuse!! If that were me, id leave feedback stating that. I mean, come on, was the baby in the middle of a mix or summat! lol phones: what was he/she doing around tunes that were gonna be sold? Its obviolusy bullshit, he should have put a reserve on the tunes or started the bidding higher.

Ive just checked out their feedback and it would seem they have messed someone else around too. :S

Edit: Id also watch them incase they suddenly decided to re-appear!

Get him Negged. I'd say people can normally see the truth out of a negging match. Always seems obvious who was the arse bandit in the sale i'd say.

Report it to ebay too, then if he negs back you might be able to get it retracted or summet?????? (not sure on that though)

Or, if he excepts cheque payments, see where the cheque was to be sent to and do the decent thing and take some calpol round for his baba.

DIDNT WANNA SELL THE RECORDS FOR £1 - SO MADE CRAP EXCUSE SAYIN HE BINNED 'EM!!!

...although I hope he didnt really have a sick baby cos I don't think I could live with the guilt lol
