Please forgive me if this has been done a million times before as I am a new user to this site. But I'm very interested in others opinions.

Mine Is;-

Black Riot-A day in the life (Champion records 1988)

It's the tune that hooked me on house music hook line and sinker.

It's followed by a close second;-

OT Quartet-Hold that sucker down (Cheeky records)

I just love the way it builds up to a peak and lets rip.

I know this is a typical response, but it simply IS way too difficult to say what my overall favourite is - there's sooo many.

Kariya's 'Baby Let Me Love You For The Night' tho was the tune that got me hooked on house...

Probably get slated for this, but Together's 'Hardcore Uproar' is another that would be a strong contender overall. Not the purists choice by any means, but the tune holds probably the most memories for me and despite the fact its been played to near death for the last 13 years I still bloody love it...

Hardcore Uproar was a tune, Yeah maybe it was a tad commercial but it was cool as cucumber. Karyia is one of those tunes I can imagine is at the top of many lists bit of a monster!!!

Hey, nice to see altern 8 back out and about, are they going to infiltrate seel street then?

With you on that one Mart purely due to the "memories" factor as well.

However, my absolute all time favourite is Sined Roza - Don't Know What It Is. Funnily enough, didn't know what it was - no pun intended - till I joined this site:D and now have two of the blighters with the booty on the way!

Had just been playing it to death on a mixtape over the years. Pure class;)

YOU CAN'T DECIDE

HOW CAN ANYONE DECIDE...

MAY BE LAST RHYTHM "LAST RHYTHM"

JUST FOR THE MEMORIES, I WAS BEHIND THE DECKS IN RISE (SHEFFIELD) WITH DJ NIPPER AND THE TAPPING SOUND WAS SO LOUD WE HAD TO CUT THE TREBLE...IT FELT LIKE WE WHERE GETTING HIT ON THE HEAD WITH A HAMMER :axe: ....LOVE IT

OR MIMMO MIX "CHAINS"

SUB SUB "SPACE FACE"

MAYBE EVEN BASSHEADS "OUT THERE"

I WAS IN CREAM ABOUT 95 AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS A BIT SHIT.....PEOPLE HAD BEEN SCRAPING....AND THEN OUT OF NO WHERE PAUL BLEASDALE (I THINK) DROPPED BASSHEADS AND AT THE END OF IT THE WHOLE PLACE JUST WENT CRAZY AND COMPLETE CHANGED THE ATMOSPHERE FOR THE BETTER.

I COULD EVEN SAY THE ROB TISSERA V'S DREAM FREQUENCY MIX OF ASHA

OH... I'LL STOP I'LL NEVER HAVE A FAVOURITE

:axe:

I would say Voodoo Ray was the record that really got me into house. I was more of a hip-hop and indie boy before that. While I could not go for a favourite, the one that I am really into at the moment is Nightwriters - Let the music use you. Proper tunage!

All Time Favourite Tune.

Have to say mine is The Source feat Candi Stanton bootleg mix on Dj Slipmatts '88-'92 amazin tune still today.

But have to agree that Black Riot: A Day in the Life is a ROCKIN TUNE. Just got a listen to it there but mine is on Latino Rave: Deep Heat '89 7 inch which sucks.:(
