I had one of those fisher price 1210's too . . happy daze ;)

I think the first time I heard Alpha Dy was by Welly at redzone 2 at the pleasuredrome mid 91, what a night :king:
Mike at beatstreet give me the i.d and a bootleg of it (which is rumoured to be done by them) . I didnt get the original till 2 years ago for 5 Euro. Bless t'intenet.

Techno Age and Laura had been wants for a long time, but with Alpha Dy I didn't know the tune until I came on here either, but its deffo a tune that got played more than a few times back then.

When I heard it again for the first time it was deffo an 'oh yeah - that one' moment. Now whether thats because of Sasha playing it I don't know, but to be honest I don't really care - I'll stick my neck out and say I reckon its a decent tune, but I wouldn't pay £100+ for any piece of vinyl (although I nearly did for one little Chicago beast last month...:$ )

What I find puzzling is if people have really waited since '91 for it, then whats the hurry? Mine cost us about 10 euro - from Italy of all places.

thanks so much for all the replies....my questions were answered why this is such a sought after tune and it was great that it ended on a funny note :D
at one point i was fearful that someone was gonna bust a CAPS LOCK in my ass.....but you all shone through and had a laugh just like we all did back in the day :thumbsup:
by the way PMSL at the name who won the fisher price turntable and tunes....... is that you AL? :D
