amp cut out

Areet ppl,avin a prob with me amp ,had a change round and reset up,when i reach a certain volume it cuts out,it was ok since the change round but now i cant av it full belt,limited access to volume....its a pioneer amp with the old skool style speaker connections at the rear,the 1ns you you insert and clip down (red/balck)i got a feeling it may be sommat wid me speakers,n e suggestions would be appreciared,,taa peeps

Sounds like it's the speaker protection circuit.
Make sure there aren't any stray strands of speaker cable touching earth or the wrong terminals.
