I loved the rave scence from '89 onwards were you could wear what you wanted and nobody gave a damn but thinsg moved on didnt they, but when the raves died down there were no clubs etc for us in Lincoln to go to. I loved the free partys, dancing in mud, covered in muck. and would jump at the chance to go to one. BRING BACK THE ILLEGALS I SAY!!!!!!! I can remeber going clubbing in those awful platforms that made a comeback and jesus, I have never been in so much pain in my life, did I have a good night..... NO. And re-reading my post I still agree that the strict dress codes did give these clubs their exclusiveness, not saying I agree'd with it, btu it did.
