I haven't seen many out and about, but then i'm not a hardcore rider hitting the serious stuff, but one I did see once hitting the scariest descent down Winter Hill made me want one more than every as the bit I tried afterwards on my shit 300 pound bike front susser (at the time) nearly ripped my arms apart on the boulders and tore me a new arsehole, before I found a place to bail out.
