I want readers who DO care about the price or Es, about whether a Zippy backpack is better than a Hello Kitty one.

So, if you don't like that, then sorry.

What a bag of old bollocks - the teen hedonist market indeed......

If the quality of articles was any good loads of people would buy it, kids included. Instead its a load of old cack!

The mags been absolute shite for years, ever since corporate clubbing took over, "I'll buy the back page ad space for the next year if you write a ten page article on us saying how good we are........., every month...!" What does surprise me is the editor, Mixmag was a music mag the last time I looked. Zippy backpacks, FFS indeed jonnyp.

Exactly, it isnt a music magazine anymore, its a drugs / kiddy / smash hits clone mag. The last time I bought it was when they did a piece on the hacienda, going back a while, even then it was poorly written. Its steadily gone downhill for years, and you can see with the appointment of this new ed the direction they are taking.

Its disappointing to see because I started reading it in 1989 and thought it was the d's b's.

Very poor arrogant attitude by the editor to older clubbers (..erm me) and I suppose it is typical of the sort of people / music journos who have consistently jumped on the bandwagon with house music over the last decade or so. I hope the mag gets what it deserves, feck all circulation = out of business.

Chav-ville Droylsden, innit!
Yep, I used to buy it a lot as well... it certainly has gone downhill.

I usually pick it up in Asda, have a scan through it, and put it back on the shelf.

DJ mag is better, but WTF do they insist on having game reviews in there?

I like the odd bash on a PS2 or whatever myself, but if I wanted to read about games I'd buy a games mag.

Wankers.

Stick to good old OSA and the web.

That Viv guy is gonna end up face down in a gutter if he keeps going, a while back,he lagged on the D&B scene around London, there were all these guys bombing the board wit dere rasta tip stiz an ting...i was scared, swear to god,I was reading it from under the table with 1 eye out...now he's lagging on 30 year old readers and dj's...he reckons kids cant relate to them? arnt they suppose to relate to the music?
Cant believe he's so opinionated against music lovers in general..and telling readers to buy the competitions mag? is he sick of eating...

On a lighter note,Iam totally digging this thing,
