young mc/asha

I know PT doesnt use this record as ive seen him actually do it with 2 different ones, its rare he actually gets its spot on though!

i would much rather use 2 diff records and mix it mesel like

My money would be on this being a one off pressed up by cutting crew or summat... so the seller is prolly making just 20 sheets if that on the tune...

Still the most laziest idea I've ever heard of though... if you do insist on doing this tired & played out mix (ie. just copying someone elses idea from over 15 years ago) at least do it with the original tunes....

If you click the e-bay link in the first post, you'll see the winner is rated -1. He got his neg feedback from the same seller! Bid £137 on another of his tunes & did not pay

Still waiting for my copy...

I think he expected to get more for it & now its mysteriously disappeared in the post.

ffs now THIS has annoyed me... ^^^

Firtsly you can get an legit (albeit repress) Young MC here for 8 notes buy it now (which also has the instrumental)... when it was 1st reissued you could get it for a fiver from Juno etc

eBay.co.uk: YOUNG MC " KNOW HOW " (VOCAL/INST) / "FASTEST..." US12 (item 260093066735 end time 13-Mar-07 22:24:38 GMT)

Secondly there is no such thing as a Techno Age accapella... the core sample (Bang ! Nine ! Automatic, hunted child !) is from this

eBay.co.uk: ICE T-HIGH ROLLERS REMIX (item 270095480598 end time 09-Mar-07 20:43:39 GMT)

Which is currently 99p

I was just curious as to what the mix sounded like, heard it mentioned on here loads. I thought for a fiver can't go wrong plus an accapella of Techno Age, bonus! Looks like I was well & truly duped. :$

Anyone know who this 'quadheads' clown is?

He once had a copy of Laura Palmer up but the postage was stupidly high, sommat like £8 postage so I sent a message asking why the costs so high and he just said "you don't like it, don't bid" lol

Seems to me the seller is a lazy scouse ****, selling dodgy goods and over charging for postage, deffo one I'd avoid :cops:

Funny you should say that, cos I've just found this:

Laura Palmer Vinyl Records for Sale - Twin Peaks Killer In The Mix LP

I reckon it's the same guy. Guess that copy of Laura Palmer didn't sell then!

I think that's Ian Kenyon who runs the Quad Park site & is Ikontraband on here... he's a decent bloke :) (that Laura is overpriced tho imo :D )

Oops! My mistake :$ It was the Quadrant Park thing and the erm, ambitious price structure that caught my eye, having just been reading this thread. Been after a copy of Laura Palmer for years but I can't justify that kind of dough!

the one youve bought isnt the young mc / Asha mash-up, its this ... Various - A & S Vol 2

Like has already said, i noticed the guy who bought the mash-up had -1 feedback on ebay too. And tbh lookin at his and the sellers feedbacks, neither can be trusted.

Looks like the seller bought another tune (White Stripes vs MAW) for £165 and then sold it to the -01 buyer for £135. But from his comments left on the feedback, the seller has instead sent him a cutting crew special. "RECORD IS A CHEAP NASTY HOMEMADE BOOTLEG, SOUND QUALITY IS UTTER CRAP, AVOID!" .. ie, he's saying paullufc03 (formerly Yorshireboy on ebay) has bought the orig and is then sending an mp3 to cutting crew and getting back a booty.. and then passing it off as the orig. all sounds very nasty to me, and this is happening more and more. :cops:

Ive heard in the past that this has also been done with the Eclipse - This is The Eclipse too.

Did anyone buy that original that VDR had up on oggs for £300?

I only say this cos it seems strange that he was selling it when i have pms from him from 2 years ago when he was selling it then. There was also a thread a while ago where he was selling his mates.. but then he was selling his same original a couple of months ago. all a bit wierd considering no-one else has it.

Im defo not accusing him of doing anything untowards here, but maybe VDR, if he's still on this board, can let us know where he keeps finding this little gem lol?
