Sometimes in the past Ive sent the tape machine through my headphone output jack or my mini studio mixer before I record it, some old ones are really dodgy and I could tweak hiss and make use of Dolby B, Dolby C etc before it was actually inputted. </p><p></p><p>On my old computer, processing a 90minute file for backround noise and hiss took ages, so I gathered that aslong as it wasnt severely detremental to the sound, Id do most the processing whilst I recorded it in the first place <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" />.</p><p></p><p>Cheerio</p><p></p><p>Sirius.</p></blockquote><p></p>
