I'm about to buy this track... I'm hoping you know which mix I'm after.. the classic bowlers tune.

I've been told its the Frank De Wulf Mix. Is this the 12" I should buy:

Frank De Wulf - The B Sides Remixes (1991) (MMI9011)

How much do you reckon I should pay?

Ahh yes,Beltram was a grand producer, pitch bending fiend that he was,all I know about the track is it's in a set from him live at 2am in Germany,it's all very abstract and very ...err...German :phones:
For sure biskit, have a look, but I think you would know this if you heard it...have you heard his mix of "The Edge" by Human resource?
Not sure if Dewulf worked with him,but do you know if dewulf was ever known as Fonny DeWulf? I have a lot of late 80's Euro stuff and "Fonny De Wulf" pops up a lot on mix engineer names...Frank and Fonny sound awfull close to me...
I'm a bit confused by "The Tape" remixes??? all the mentioned tracks...is this an EP??
Where did you purchase it?

I bought it from htrax..... check the shopping section on the board, found some good sites through there.

The EP I've bought is "Frank De Wulf - The B Sides Remixes", it features remixes of The Tape, Magic Orchestra, Compression, + Butterfly.

There also a couple of other Frank De Wulf EP's along the same vien that the good Mr Biskit pointed me towards:

The B Sides - Volume One (Magic Orchestra on here)
The B Sides - Volume Two (Compression on here)
The B Sides - Volume Three (The Tape on here)

I'm guessing the one I bought is the remix of tracks on those 12"'s. I'm usually wrong but it kinda makes sense in my world :)

Bit late here but I've got 2 copies of this - cat# MMI 9011.
If anyone wants my spare I'll do it for a fiver including postage cause it's only in a generic sleeve rather than the original cover.

The remix is more of a full on club tune - It's a fucking stormer.
The original is a lighter sort of track - it starts off with a male sample "I got a tape from my mom", then a chick going "You have been on my mind for a few days". The riff comes in, then it gets a rolling kind of breakbeat.
To be honest I prefer the original. Probably because you don't seem to hear it as much.
