First, I had the saga of the Avary next door waking me at all sorts of illegal times.

I coped and go used to it.

BUT.....For the last 9 or 10 weeks, the guy next door/side on to where I live has been building a 2 STOREY extension and using all sorts of noisy building implements.

Now, if he started at say 10am, even on a saturday I suppose I would let it pass, but this morn was typical. At 8 am he started using something with more noise than I hydraulic fdrill constantly until half 11/12 when I cracked and just thought 'GFek it, Im just gonna get up' All I wanted was a little lie in. Not for some sloth lookalike to be waking me from such an early hour.



AAAArrrrggggghhhhh!!!!! Just thought Id have a moan!

Nope, he's been at it for ages. It looks like the shell is sorted but the internal flooring/roofing etc and all that other building stuff will prob takes ages......

Maybe I'll ring the council and check that he has planning permission, nyap nyap nyap.

Otherwise I'll just knock the sodding thing down one night!!

P'raps knocking it down is a bad idea, I'd go with calling the Planning Dept!..

Put an advert in a range of Free to advertise newspapers with some real bargains that don’t exist.

Make sure that the items you advertise at bargain prices are the type of thing that lots of people might be interested in if you plan this one right their phone will be ringing for weeks.

This one is best if you are off on holiday for a couple of weeks.

Buy a good timer plug that has increments of 15 mins (so that you can set it to go on and off upto almost 100 times during a 24 hour period.

Plug in your hi fi or other sound making device – turn the volume upto full pitch and programme your timer to switch it on and off randomly during the most inconvenient time for you noisy neighbour

Enjoy your holiday in the sound knowledge that your noisy neighbour will be raging at your antisocial behaviour

When you get back suntanned and your victim complains that they have had little or no sleep during your absence, apologise profusely and tell them that you are not good with technology and that you must have programmed it incorrectly.

If their antisocial behaviour continues, simply go on holiday again!
