i've seen this in vinyl exchange for £40 before



my brother rings me

and tells me the 12" is in 4 pieces

so i race up home

sure enough its in 1 piece but with 5 cracks across it
totally shagged

the record sleeve clearly states


FRAGILE DO NOT BEND

Although I normally think posties are OK for the job they have to do, theres no excuse for crap like that happenning. Can u tell them how fekkin rare it is and prove it??? Make em pay!, although Im sure they will have ways of covering thier arses with small print........failing that, get a savage dog and train it to munch on the posties nads.............


The post office (or whatever it is nowadays) is another pathetic laughing stock of Europe. Once again England is FIRST on the list of incompetance in fundamental aspects of business.........privatisation

Actually twas I that sold itcha, but me n Gaz both sell through that ID.

Really sorry to hear about this, as you can imagine, it was fine when I packaged it up, and did state it was fragile on it.

PM me and I will sen you a refund, as the Post Office will basically tell you to P**S off, as Ive found before.

Did you know that, when a piece of mail gets to a mail centre, it is dropped into a huge vat like thing, that is sort of funnel shaped, it goes down the funnel and comes out the other end onto a coneyer thing, blah blah

So putting fragile on it dont mean nowt in this vat

WHat's the score with this post thingy ?? I ordered a record off E-Bay and it came in two pieces. I contacted the seller and he basically said he'd posted over 100 records like that all ok (obviously),

The credit card company have said they'll put the amount in dispute for me if I find out what E-bays' policy is on this stuff but I only got an automated email response from them that was nothing to do with the question I'd originally asked them

Anyway, who is liable (if anyone) in this instance. The packaging IMO wasn't good enough as it only looked like a reinforced envelope and not a proper box type thing that I normally get my records sent in.

Any ideas guys?
