One of the first tunes I ever made myself was a bootleg of Wonderful Life with the beat of Tears for Fears Shout chucked underneath it - did it with an Amiga supplying da beat and me mixing the tune over the top on a belt driven deck

I wish I had the suss to put it out - it was in 1990 and i would have loved to have been responsible for one of those old fashioned balearic beauties

LOL so would i - i think it is probably on a fecked TDK c90 somewhere in the bins of history

Ill do it again in Nuendo or something - it should be a lot easier than it was then - i don't think the deck had a varispeed so i had to keep nudging it on to keep the speed

Did this with Jon Bell of Tinrib fame hard house fans

Borrowed that new 12"/80's CD off a friend and these were on the same CD so had to knock 'em together for you

Did this on Cubase SX ... but it is exactly how I did it on a deck and Amiga back then phones:
