Northern Star.........these coincidences we have are getting beyond scary now. I have one of those exact same bottles filled with 1's and 2's, a few 5ps and an occasional 20p, couple of screws and perhaps 1 button LOL.

Its full though, and actually cracked a bit, but then what do you do with it? .......I was thinking of donating it. cant see myself going to Asda for the weekly shop and lugging my whisky bottle onto the checkout at payment time LOL

in our local supermarket there is a machine, you tip all your coin into it and it counts it all for ya and then prints a reciept and you go n cash it at the customer service desk:thumbsup:

i think it charges 7p for every £1 counted, imo thats well worth paying to save all the ballache of counting it and bagging it up in natwest bags and lugging it to the bank!!

Ah right.......I was thinking if I dont just cart it to a charity shop, Id have to spend a whole weekend at blackpool and feed the 2p pusher machines - they still have those 2p ones dont they?.

Ste, go to an old working mans club, they usually have them, thats where my dad got me mine from when I was younger. These trendy gaffs are probably too poncy to use them.

Sirius.
