We were told that Saddam had WMD that could be fired at us within 45mins. That was, I think the reason that our government went to war. When these weapons were not found (because there weren't any which was later confirmed by Hans Blix) we were told that he was THINKING about getting them. Now, I don't know about you but for me there is a bit of a difference between THINKING and having them.So, after that lie was shot down we were then told that he was such a bad man that that he gassed his own people. This is probably true but as the west were shouting about this atrocity we failed to understand that it was us that sold him the gas. How can you put a gun in somebody's hand with the knowledge that he will use it then turn around and say how bad he is for doing it???  WE produced it, WE sold it to him.Sorry for derailing the thread but I just want to highlight that our governments are not as clean as you think.</blockquote>
