is there some old grottbags wives tale that says i gott take em down by a certain day??

was jus avin a chuckle through reading some of my birthday cards n i love em with my flowers etc.....

Never keep em up coz I never put em up...

However I am a sentimental hoarder... :$

I have a memory trove of the daftest things....

the words in cards mean more than the prezzys

i leave them up a week then they begin to piss me off!!!!
i cant dust proplerly with them hangin about!!!
i have a drawer with all my memories in pics, cards random bits ive pinched

As soon as read they go straight in the recycling tub here, except one that ive kept that has a cool relief picture of a couple of Spitfires in flight. Not sentimental, i just love the pic.

Yeah I leave mine up about a week usually and then stick em with all my other bits a pieces that I keep for sentimental value. Though I have started binning some as I'm running out of space, try and just save the special ones now I love stuff like that though.

no think thats you shouldnt open cards before your birthday or its bad luck or summat daft ?

Of course i open em before me Bday, there might be a tenner in the envelope from some well meaning aunt or barking mad sister, that will go to the Chrimbo day piss up fundage!
