where do files go to when you delete over a network?

its a mystery.


does anyone know, or know of any gadgets, programs or settings that can allow you to delete safely over as network and maintain some sort of recycle bin?

we all work direct off a server, but as we have found out, if you accidentally erase a wrong file - it just utterly disintegrates into no where!!!

Use "FunDelete" as a replacement for the recycle bin:

If you want to restore files that have gone then have a look at "FileRestore":

http://www.winternals.com/products/repairandrecovery/filerestore.asp

or some other 3rd party file recovery software.. the file is still there, only the entry in the MFT has been deleted.
