I've got a fullish copy of quite a bit of that footage.

The scouse bloke "every week" outside the warehouse for instance, I've got about an hour or so of that party as well as outside.

Any chance of a copy jonno :$ id love to see that
It's on vid unfortunately. I should be getting a DVD recorder soon though so I'll sort it out then.

Failing that I'll see what Neil has in the way of extracting it.

I've also got that Northern Raves one which has a load of Stalybridge, Ainsdale beach etc. I don't think that one's in the public arena either.

Me and Amelie were like that when we watched it. We suddenly felt that we were watching our youth and we'd never get it back.

If I can't get those rips sorted in a week or so, I'll send you them so you can watch / copy them or summat and send them back.

who set the raves up , how did everyone find out about them?, who dj'd? , where were the raves? did you have to paye? and has anyone got any pics from them!? :D

Well the blackburn party's were set up and organised by a good number of people.....the main fella's were...the smith brothers namely tommy (who is in the clip there on the vid) tony creft.
DJ's there a few of them too......welly did and john j, shack was a big blackburn name back then also ...
yep there was a small fee to pay usually a few quid not much but that was mainly for the out of towners ;)

Were camera's invented in 89 :p :p ive never come across any actual photographs of the parties but itd ba ace to see some...mind you the footage here does the job ;)

well oldskoolkidder, we knew about the parties just through word of mouth and of course the flyers that kicked about.;) there never seemed to be any real direction on the night - just get to a club (sett end and after that monroes) or onto Charnock and follow the convoy!!:D :D

How many of those warehouses are still standin today? Be a good day out driving round tryin to find em all again... (how sad is that, it'll be train spottin next, lol:$ :D )

As the parties went on the dj's changed quite a lot, a couple of my mates had a go, especially at the party in Brownside Mill in Burnley:cool:

I know what you mean about seeing your youth tho, it was noted how much my legs hurt after the legends do on Sunday night (OUCH!!), not as easy to "jack yer body" these days...

...........who knows tho, maybe one day we'll all find ourselves climbing through a warehouse window again!!!!

Yes please!!
