nice find postie, not seen the second one for a very long time. always preferred this myself but they both bring back a lot of good memories :D

wasn't a fan of the Breakin movies in fact i thought they were piss poor all that electric boogaloo dancing, mc hammer pants, bright coloured tight vests, feathers in ears leather fingerless gloves. total wrongness :naughty:

Beat street was great though so was Wildstyle although the 2nd was very low budget, which kind of aded to the raw gritty feel of how it was back then where it all came from, this [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/WILD-STYLE-Sampler-Charlie-Ahearn/dp/1576873641/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1332791261&sr=1-1]WILD STYLE: The Sampler: Amazon.co.uk: Charlie Ahearn: Books[/ame] is a really good book telling all about how the film was made, saying that wtf is Busy Bee wearing on the cover :crazy: heres a clip from the end of Wildstyle :cool: :cool: :cool: phones: check out the old decks and mixer DST is using at 4.32 :cool:

Aye, Beat Street is the one I loved the most too. Set in the right city and having all the right elements:cool: I loved breakdance (breakin' to U.S. audiences) at the time too, but despite a few great tunes and some good scenes, it's pretty much Flashdance for the LA scene.

I didn't even watch Wild Style until I found a very expensive VHS copy of it in Fat Beats in the 90's, so it doesnt hold the same kind of memories that I have as those from beat street. But it's the most revered movie out of them all.
