was wondering which country has the most healthy traditional breakfast and which one is the most unhealthy?
i think england has to have one of the unhealthiest - bacon , egg , beans , fried bread , sausages and black pudding.
maybe scotland has the healthiest? - porridge.... although some have it with salt(eww).

Raw meats i.e bacon... salami and minced meat.. yes minced meat... all nice and raw on bread. :| Yummy :crazy:

I know oh too well - my mother takes me over to see my family every now and then... breakfast isnt very nice especially after a night out on the stella :crazy:

id hate to scoff the yanks brekkie!!!

you get a big bowl of sugar pour sugar on it and have a cup of sugar on the side with some more sugar sprinkled on top!!!

seriously, stee told me when they was in mexico there was loads of diffo breakfasts (buffet style) so they thought they would try it american style with pancakes and donughts with sugar n maple syrup on top, not suprised they dint eat it!!

you cant beat a bowl of cornflakes with freezing cold milk :thumbsup:

ahhh, cereals

cereals are the unsung heros of the stoners munch menu

ok, has to be Brixxed up a bit... Coco Pops - left over from when little sis visited with folks - and yes it was hell not being able to get the grinder out for 4 days - semi skimmed milk....then whop a large portion of single cream over the top. Trust me (innit), it's wicked.

(and if that doesn't grab yer fancy, try toast, thin slices of mild cheddar on top, strawberry jam and ground white pepper)

Food science... a long forgotten art once limited to stoners, and now resurrected to the hoi polloi by Heston Blumenthal at the Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire. If he's got three (yep, 3 of the basties) Michelin stars, its good enough for me.

I reckon the Scots have an unhealthier breakie than us English, as it's practically the same, but includes chips too! Mind you as you say, porridge is the traditional Scottish dish although I wouldn't fancy it with salt on :eek:

A continental breakie seems fairly healthy and the French usually eat fresh bread that only has a lifespan of about 4 hours, so isn't full of preservatives like ours is :|
