I did most of my clubbing in Brum 92-95, just wondered if anyone else on here went to Crunch, SLAG, Wobble, Bliss? Occasionally go down now for Flashback which is a top night out.

Occassionally used to go to Mr Smiths (ARRRRRRRRRRRGH!) and holy City Zoo in Manchester which was quality!

Hey-hey !! :) Brummies in the house make sum noyze !

Alright our kid !

Yeah I come Redditch & used to go to Eclipse (mainly) & Shelleys (sometimes) in 90/91/92...

Brum had some great raves too - Time @ the Rag Market & Starlight raves @ Aston Villa Lesuire Centre.

Between 93 & 95 used to go to places like Wobble/Crunch (Hockley), Marco Polo's/Steering Wheel - also used to be a great Rare roove/funk night @ the Institute called Sweat.

Still go back home for footie to see the Villa (don't mention last weeks 3-0 hammering:$ ) - have you been up the canals recently ?? Fecking hell - posh or wot ??

I know man Brum has gone all flash! They'll be knocking the Bull ring down next cos it's 'too seventies'!

Crunch was my real favorite, the two residents Jon Hollis and Mark Jarman were brilliant, I still play the few tapes of theirs I have all the time. Never went to sweat though

We used to head to Marco's after to smoke fags and try to get to be normal again!

Was the eclipse in Coventry, if so I went there once to a hardcore night a friend of a friend was DJing at.

I went to Code about a year back and there were bird in feather boa's pole dancing........What is going on???!

Did you ever go to Toots on the hagley road? It was downstairs and done out like an Egyptian crypt. It was always touch and go would get claustrophobic first!!

LOLOL mate - they have knocked down the Bullring coz it was too 70's - same with the ragmarket.

Crunch/Wobble was the bollox - top nights, top atmos & top birds ! Do u remember the lovely Helen ??;) Still got Wobble flyers at home - & me membership card (got from Red or Dead).

I had one feckin class tape from Crunch but some bastard nicked it  Started off with Young MC going into Voodoo Ray I remeber..... also had the classic MJ "Don't stop til u get enuff" on it..... if you have this can I beg a copy off ya ?? Cheers.

Never went to Toots - sounds well bizarre

Thats one of the ones I got, send us your address and its in the post! Its a bit fuzzy these days and it finishes with King Bee over the Prodigy on one side and Justin Warfield on the other. And it still has me grooving.

Was the lovely helen the strawberry blonde girl at Birmingham Uni that djed a bit? She was lovely indeed! Especially fired on with 12 cans of red stripe and a double dove!

There was a dark haired girl who used to DJ down stairs who was quite saucy as well, and at the start of her set I'd decide to go and have a chat when she finished, and by the time she finished I was smackin my lips and hanging off the ceiling! Like ships that passed in the night!!!!

Membership from Red or Dead - that takes me sooooo back!

Any amusing stories about the bouncy dancefloor?!

Mate you are a staaaaaaaaaar !!!:king: :king: :king: I'm PMing ya me addy for that tape - give us yrs & I'll drop sum stuff back to ya

Yep - that was the lovely Helen !!  LOL@ Phil Gifford DJing 1 night totally starkers - mental !

I think I know the dark bird you mention - one night I was in & dancing on the platform nearby the DJ booth (downstairs) & she dropped Time of the Mumph (I think) -= it was summat sampling CLS anyways & me & her locked eyes & were screaming at each other when the synth stab came in - twas true love for that second

LOL @ the floor !! It weren't called wobble for now was it ?? No real funny stories to speak of but it was really cool jus standing still on it & being bounced about - lazy raving lol !
